Hi ,i have weak hip ,more on my left side you see me putting pants or putting socks on no balans i would my knees a bit but struggle for balance. Ok i have doing move to stretch my thigh but my left won't adjust well i don't have couch but i do try it laying down, i hope t hings get better last time since you told about hip hinges my lunges now are improving. Im doing slowly low standing but without holding on to anything now i can slowly get up from sitting down during meditation as well no support but goid positive of feet and lower back ,hip without swaying or losing my step.thank you .I will try again with the proper alignment of the body may be my hip will not lock or cramp on me.many thanks.
This exercises are to difficult for older people.

My right one does a lot more cause the knee is unstable and weak unfortunately
I heard that the crepitus knee crack sound is often due to gas bubbles bursting in the joint fluid. Is this true? What are some ways to reduce or prevent this from happening?
Could be due to weakness in the knee /injury

They are *not* easy for the elderly.
These specific ones are not intended for the elderly. Like all of my videos, they’re probably much more suited for women 40-65 👍
It is more than basic for me. I was a. runner ( one hour distaces). Now my hips are so bad, that this excercices are a challenge.

Both knees have osteoarthritis. Im scared these exercises would be to hard on them and make OA worse
The first two moves (if you look closely) do not involve very much bending at the knee joint. Rather, it’s more about stabilizing the knee while the hip moves - which is super important for strong knees, especially knees with OA. (Even the step-ups can be done on a much shorter height.) 👍

Why ?? Why does this happen???
Achy hips can happen from tightness or even lack of lubrication from the joint fluid or a combo of that and arthritis. This move can really help all of that!

did all of these about a gazillion times in PT after i had ACL surgery 😂 also used to do the first one with a yoga ball under one foot which makes it way more challenging

It’s ok for your hips/bum to lift a little bit, but that begins to turn it into a “bridge” which is also a great move 👍

This is absolutely correct. This is not so much an exercise as aMOVEMENt pattern to be developed. Needs to be practiced and applied to daily tasks such as lifting a laundry basket). People with osteo must not bend forward but hinge forward. PRACTICE THIS.

Those are 3 fantastic exercises that I have been doing for 10 years as I have sciatica in my left leg/buttock area, add to this 3 prolapsed disks too add to my daily pain😔
